Why is there no. Volume without a headphone and very little with. one
My DVD player has a beautiful picture everything else works fine I just have a problem with the volume

I would suspect bad solder connections inside the set. Possibly a messed up headphone jack. But try other headphones and cables first before diving in. Also make sure it is not muted.
