I have a global beauty Chi flat iron I purchased on eBay some years ago that doesn't get quit as hot as my daughter's Chi she bought full price in a store. Also, the problem now is the the on/off switch flickers & won't stay on. I have to keep playing with the switch to get it to stay on but eventually turns off in use. Please help me!

lrushton2 , Link's below is a disassembly guide and video, This will get you inside the flat iron to inspect for damaged/loose/burnt wires/components and enable you to possibly repair/replace switch. If not comfortable working with electronics perhaps have a good local small appliance shop have a look and estimate repair. Also link to a site where to send for repair and last link is for manufacturer which talks about warranty and fake Chi irons and you may be able to inquire about replacement parts,etc., if needed.
