What do the G5's LEDs (late 2005 quad 2.5 GHz) indicate?

What are the exact failures indicated by the 7 LEDs visible on the left side of a late 2005 model Power Mac G5?

Currently red LED #2 lights, then is followed by red LED #7 a minute or two later. At this point the Mac freezes completely, but the video is fine. The Mac appears to function normally with just red LED lit. The longer the system is off the longer it takes for the LEDs to come on, but it does not remain on long enough to boot from and troubleshoot with the installation DVD. This occurs with even after all upgrades (SCSI, Firewire, USB, etc.) have been removed.

The inside of system has been completely cleaned with compressed air & a vacuum, battery replaced & memory reseated.

Thank you, and it confirms my suspicions that the unit is not cooling properly. Now I need to obtain the service diagnostics to check the thermal calibration. All fans are functioning properly and there is no coolant leakage. The unit was extremely dusty prior to cleaning. After the LEDs come on, the unit's fans go to high speed.
