When I go to my small cell phone repair shop. Can the man steal the parts in my iPhone and replace them with used slower parts. When I went there to have him put in a brand-new screen and that's it

Does the phone work differently than before the screen was put in , did the breaking of the screen effect the way the phone works now. Its not likely that someone would steal parts from your phone to reuse because they would need to replace those parts. It is more likely that when you broke the screen you did more damage to the phone than just breaking the glass. There is also the chance that the phone was damaged in the act of repairing it . What is the phone doing to make you think this?

@david3388 there are no parts of any significant individual value. It is highly doubtful that anyone would replace or steal those components. It sounds like you are having issues with your phone being slower after the repair. Those are issues that I would address with whomever repaired your phone.

Topically they don't but if they are a not real nice place or a really unprofessional place you should probably not have them repair it.

Go to main question, there is very difficult especially to iphone 5s to just swap some component with other one. Many component paired with other one and just Apple can do repairing if there is any change. Example change original home button with other one make touch id malfunction. Best way to ensure that, check all phone functionality carefully after servicing procces done, complain if some function didnt work, or Ask warranty for a time to ensure & test all phone function work
