I have a questions regarding the folding part of the System?

Im reassembling my N3DSXL, however I'm running into trouble when uniting both the Upper and lower Display. Once I unite them I doesnt seem to fold how It normally does . Like, is like more loose and doesn't stay still when I open the system.

Is there any reason why this happens? And is there any fix?
