iPhone 6s mic off when on Internet call and handsfree

My iphone 6s dropped and screen glass broke. After glass replacement, my mic on handsfree is acting wierd.

1. When on handsfree, the voice does not get through (and voice echoes) when I make an internet call (on Whatsapp, Skype, Viber, facebook Messenger etc).

2. At the same time when on handsfree it works fine with Siri, Voice memo, camera recording and phone call.

I did an experiment with front and back camera recordings. The sound is perfect.

My iOS version is 10.2.1 which I think is latest.

Please advise me the solution.

Front camera microphone is not aligned properly or the filters for the screen are blocking it.

Or at worst the front microphone flex connecting to the front camera flex has been damaged.

If you got it repaired from someone take it back to them and say the front microphone was working before but after you fixed it stopped working when I got it back.

Thanks for your answer.

I went to the repair guy and he said that it is a software issue and refreshed it.

I don't know if he re-opened the phone and tried to fix the front mic (or camera) or not.

But my question is the if the front mic works on phone call or camera recording or voice memo, why it does not work on internet call (on Whatsapp, Skype, Viber, facebook Messenger etc)?

It's probably very quiet on messenger apps because I heard someone else say it was very quiet. Try tapping the earpiece speaker filter, you should hear a sound to see if it's blockage or alignment issues. If you can hear the taps from the recording then you know it's the issue explained above.

The front secondary microphone is located at the front top of the screen behind the black speaker filter.
