- To do this: Select About Devices. Press Build number until you enter Developer Mode. You will now see "Developer Options" after selecting "More Settings.

------------ Phone is now recognized by PC when plugged in to USB -------------------

Afterwards, I updated Windows driver
1. Open Device Manager
2. Go to Network Adapters
3. Right click "Remote NDIS based Internet Sharing Device" and select "Update"
4. Choose "Browse my Computer for driver software"
5. Select "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer"
6. Uncheck "show compatible hardware"
7. In the manufacturer section, select Microsoft
8. Choose the "Remote NDIS Compatible Device" model and click Next
Also, one step I did prior to making changes to the phone - installed Windows 10 MTK VCOM USB Preloader Drivers. This may be a necessary step if “Select USB tethering” under phone Developer Options doesn’t cause your phone to appear in Windows Explorer (once “Media device File transfer” is selected).

1) open Android Systems (drag finger from top of home screen to open options)
2) Tap Android Systems for more options
3) Click Media Device (MTP) File Transfer
No downloading Necessary

None of the above fixed the USB problem on my G9. The USB options on the phone are greyed out and cannot be changed. I’ve tried 3 different drivers so far. Any other suggestions?

I have a BLU G91 Pro. First hook USB cable up between computer and phone. Then click on settings icon. (On phone) Then type USB in the search box. Click on search icon. Screen comes up. Select USB preferences. Another screen comes up giving you several selections. Select File Transfer/Android Auto. That's the way my phone works.
