Do you mean it the home button acts as if it were pressing itself?

hi Stephen, not exactly! its like several applications are opening , same like if you are swiping the screen and selecting applications. in a mean that the screen is getting touch commands by itself. thanks!

thanks again Stephen, I totally understand you. I believe that they did not use an original/OEM Digitizer for replacement, or they did not fix it properly. I will replace again myself. just one more question: do you have idea whether the thin black cloth comes with the new digitizer if I order it from ifix it.

Absolutely bud its no problem at all. I'm honestly not sure. I can vouch ifixit has quality parts but not sure about original parts. I would double check with them before ordering. You basically want to get one that looks like this picture if possible. The cloth strip is covered in blue peel off in the picture. Also if you chose to do it yourself please, and I can't stress this enough, please disconnect the battery before disconnecting the lcd and the digitizer connector or you could blow a fuse. Its a very simple fix for a micro solderer but if you don't know the motherboard it can be a pain.

Hey, gotcha. That's actually very common with the iPad mini digitizer replacement. So that would actually have nothing to do w/ the lcd. If its ever a problem w/ touch on your device it will be related to digitizer and any problems related to picture is lcd.

Most likely one of two things is going on. Either your replacement screen is faulty or your replacement screen didn't come with the protective cloth tape strip at the bottom. If you still have the original screen and look at the bottom inside of it, near the home button hole, you should see a thin black cloth like strip that goes along the width of the glass itself. This helps against what's called "ghosting" which is what you're experiencing. Its kind of weird to explain so hopefully that makes sense. If not or if you have any other questions don't hesitate to ask

Is screen flickering caused by the same issue?
