Nintendo 3DS XL upper screen blank with green line.

I have a 2015 3DS XL that fell off a table and the upper screen will not display anything but a black screen with a green line. See this image:

Can you help me diagnose the problem? Is it a loose connection? Damaged screen? Something else?
