Can I replace just the keyboard on this model?

Hello all. I accidentally spilled beer on my wife's MBP (13", Mid 2010). After shutting down the power and letting it dry upside down for several days, I tried to turn it on using the power button but nothing happened. I did some research and got it to power on by shorting the power-on pads. But, the keyboard has issues. The power button doesn't work. There is a shift key that is permanently stuck (even when I force each shift key up, it is still registering as if it is pressed down). A couple letter keys don't work. Several of the function keys on the top row don't work. And when I do the four-finger swipe up for Mission Control and click on a window everything moves very slowly (I'm thinking this has to do with some keys being depressed--any thoughts here?). I don't think the logic board has issues. My question: Can I replace just the keyboard? Then I wouldn't have to spend many more dollars on a new upper case. It seems like this would take care of the keys and the power button. I would be taking a chance that the beer didn't get much deeper to cause problems later.

Thanks.

P.S. I'm only a novice when it comes to taking apart computers, but with the videos and guides I'm willing to make the attempt. Would I need an anti-static band?

Yes you can replace just the keyboard, lots of screws but it is not a challenging repair. The power button is attached to the keyboard, so this will be fixed too.

In terms of slowness, animations are slowed down when holding the shift key (minimising a window, etc).

Don't need an antistatic band, just ground yourself before opening it.

Thank you. Do you have a suggestion where I could get a quality keyboard replacement (apparently Apple doesn't sell their own)?

eBay is the easiest place, for keyboards there is not much to go wrong. When you get it, plug it into the Macbook and test all the keys. Make sure the keys feel right and are recognised properly.
