Why won't my gopro stay on long enough to record video?
GoPro will remain powered on for entire duration of filming but when you go to retrieve the video from the unit there is nothing there. SD is inserted the entire time.

Hi,
Bit confused. You say that camera won't stay on long enough to record video then go on to say that it stays on the whole time.
Does it stay on or not?
Can you take single shot pictures and retrieve them off the SD Card OK?
Has the video function worked before OK?
Have you used the SD Card before for taking videos? If not is the new card a Class 10 SD card?
Are you using the camera's default video settings or have you adjusted them? If so, have you tried restoring the settings to their default values to see if it works?
Sorry about all the questions just trying to narrow down the possibilities.
