I am in the market for a Droid 2 and I have found that is in prefect working order minus the power button. It will not turn the device on. The device has to plugged in to power on and then it works fine. All of the apps and features are good to go then. Any advise

If the physical connector on the frame is not damaged, then find another power button. If it is damaged, replace the frame (this will require much more work, and you should look at the guides for removing the LCD and digitizer). A droid 1 frame should work and you can get one cheap from a water damaged phone.
