I’ve attached my weather machine to the end of a long pole then inserted that into a deep hole I dug for it to go in. The machine wobbles and doesn’t seem to be as secure as it should. Is there a preferred way for installation that works better? Any suggestions?

It is important to secure your acurite weather center to a sturdy, strong foundation. If you are simply putting your machine on the end a a pole and sticking it into the ground, that may not be the best approach. Try constructing a type of foundation like this:
