So my brother drop my iPad Air nothing wrong with the screen just a little scratch on the cover where the headset connector.but all a sudden one inch on the top of the touch screen is not working but the rest of the screen work.just that one inch spot where you can't click anything

Its a bad digitizer. Cheap and easy to replace. iFixt has an excellent guide on how to do it and even sells the part.
