Hi everyone,
My iPhone 5s was unable to update on iTunes. Error 27 came up when I tried. May I know what exactly is this error and which part of the phone needs fixing? Has anyone tried to repair their phone with this error and was successful? I need the data inside the phone.
Any help to point me in the right direction is greatly appreciated.

Always start with the simple things:
1. Put the phone in recovery mode and try updating again
2. Try a different cable
3. Try a different USB port, if on Windows, try one of the USB ports on the back of the computer
4. Possible it could be a bad charge port
5. The rabbit hole starts.
Try the first 4 things and then report back.

Did you back up your data before starting the update process ?

Nope I didn't. This was after my iphone suddenly crashed. I turned it off and on again thinking that would solve the problem of it lagging but it was never able to boot up normally since. Do you know which part of the phone has the problem, and if it's solvable?
