Error E20 .How to access filter?

Hello,

My Zanussi washing machine ( lindo 300 ZWF81463W) is showing error code E20. As the water is not emptying from the machine I assume it's something to do with the pump. I would like to empty the filter but cannot find it. Can anyone Help?

Hi,

Here is a link showing an exploded view of the parts of the hydraulic section of your washer. Part number 145 is listed as the Pump Body Filter Body Pilot 2. Hopefully this is the filter that you are referring to.

Thank you very much.

There, I fixed my washing machine.

€ 0.37, a piece of bra whale and a plastic hair-clip were stuck in the pump.

And € 0.05 in the drain.

I have a Lindo 300 with an E20 error code. I'm unable to remove the drain motor, (assuming that's where the filter is) there is no clip as in the video, mine seems to be secured with tamper proof screws. The drain hose looks ok with no blockages to the sink drain.

Hi @spiderman32 ,

Here's a link. that shows the location of part #145 (Pump body, Filter Body, Pilot 2.

As for the tamper proof screws, take a close up picture of the screw head and then do a Google image match and see if it identifies the type of security head. That way you can purchase the appropriate driver bit to undo the screws.

As you can see there are a lot a of varieties

Apologies if you know this already.

I had same E20 error message on Lindo500. The only way to access the pump is from the bottom, so you have to pull out the machine and put it on its side. The pump body (with pump motor still attached) can be removed by unscrewing four bolts that secure it to the machine, but you really need a small socket spanner and extension piece in order to get to them. The motor can then be taken off the pump body if required, mine was attached with "star" head screws. My problem turned out to be a small piece of cloth wound around the pump impeller. Fortunately the pump motor was ok so cost nothing to repair. Its not really a difficult job, you just need a few suitable tools.

I just had same code, just a blocked filter. I cleared filter and checked pump could turn by putting a screwdriver in hole whore the filter is and spun the fan to check it was clear. Took longer to drain the water.
