schematic or parts list

I have a Nintendo 2DS that appears to have a damage chip diode from a shield that broke loose when it was dropped. Is there a schematic and parts list for these so that I can find a replacement part? Yes I could buy a whole new unit, but my son has a lot of games and progress installed that he doesn't want to lose.

@marknoakes post an image of the circuitboard and highlight the broken part. That way we can see what you see. Use this guide Agregar imágenes a una pregunta existente for that

Hi,

I have not seen any schematics available in the web.

It will be advisable to buy a broken one and remove from one motherboard to the broken one.

Nintendo is quite close releasing any schematic.

Good luck and good repair.

Thanks. I was afraid it would come to that and have already started looking for spare boards to collect parts. The surface mount chips are not easy to deal with though.

Mark, Nintendo 2DS that appears to have a damage chip diode from a shield that broke loose. Have a electronics repair tech./shop have a quick look, if you show them damage chip/diode they may be able to assist you with replacement # or part. It may be worth a try. Good luck .

I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.

I'll see about putting up a picture. The chip in question is a 2 pad (I'm used to saying 2 pin but this is surface mount) located to the left of the CPU and to the right of the shield pad that is near the rectangular through hole on the motherboard. The chip has a white strip across one end similar to the way a diode would be marked. Using a microscope it appears to be labeled either gss or 955 or some combination of those characters. I tried taking one off another board with a heat gun, but the pad came loose from the device instead of the pad coming loose from the board.
