iPhone screen lighter black
I was replacing my iphone 5 battery and when i put it back together it responds with a light black screen almost navy color.

You damage your iPhone Lcd . Just change lcd and Solve your Problem.......

If you took the metal plate off for the 3 screen cables, did you put the 3 phillips head screws in the correct holes when putting them back on?
If not then that is long screw damage, which would require board level repairing, not really sure how to fix it but I know it's fixable.
If the non-magnetized screw is screwed into the other two screw holes other than the top one for the metal plate it has caused damaged to the logic board then.

If u didn't remove the screen during battery replacement then you may have over stretched or disconnected the screen.
disconnect the battery and check the screen is connected properly before reconnecting the battery
Failing that try a new screen
