iPhone 6s won't power on after screen replacement

I was doing a screen replacement on an iPhone 6s, took the cracked but working screen off and put another on. Screen had light when powering on and phone vibrated but no image. Proceeded to put old screen back on to test and now no light or power in the phone at all with either screen (no vibrating when plugged in or anything). Stupidly forgot to disconnect the battery when doing It so I know that could be it. Just looking for any other possible solutions.

I havnt put the screws back in the board yet so I know that can't be the problem, tested with known working screen so it isn't the screen, no power to phone now even with the screen off. Also tried disconnecting battery and plugging in and still no power so not the battery.

Probably backlight filter blown when unplugging / plugging the front display cables. But it sounds worse than that if it shows no signs of life.

Does the phone still detect in iTunes when plugged in? Tried the vibrate / silent switch to see if it's on / booted up?

No detection on iTunes when plugged in and no vibration on silent switch, phones only a couple of months old so hasn't got any previous issues
