Second set of holes in the 7 Plus
The added grille at the bottom of the iPhone 7 Plus is not a speaker. Can the same be said about the regular iPhone 7?

Yes, the new iPhone 7 & 7Plus share a common design. The left hand, what appear to be NEW speaker holes, are NOT. This instead, is a relief baffle to equalize the otherwise water tight internals to the outside air pressure. The 2nd speaker, to provide landscape orientation stereo, is part of the top earpiece where you would normally hold the iPhone up to for listening to cellular phone calls.
