Water damage: replaced battery but still won't power up
iPhone 6s plus went for a swim with me. Was non responsive, would not power up, nothing on screen. Replaced battery but still get nothing. What internal component should I be looking at replacing next?

Since the phone still doesn't turn on I can say that it's almost certainly liquid damage on the board.
The phone should be opened up and clean of liquid damage using 90%+ isopropyl alcohol on ribbon connectors and connectors on the logic board including components on the logic board as well.

While the phone may be water resistant in a way, the liquid may have gotten under the metal shields of the iPhone 6s plus under the board which require them to be taken off.
I don't think it's possible to take them off without heat so I'd take the phone to a mobile phone repair shop that does liquid damage / water damage repairs and get them to do it for you.
