Why is my disc drive spinner not going up?

Hi, I decided to clean my ps3 slim one day and while noticing that the disc drive won't read discs, I took it apart to clean the laser lens. Shortly after, I found this small spring that IS NOT THE THE DRIVE ARM SPRING, but some other. Then, after putting the ps3 back together (not fully), I turned it on and tried to put a disc in: the drive wouldn't spin the disc in nor pop the disc into place; it's like drive gears won't activate the loading mechanism. So, I was wondering if I messed up on resetting the disc drive, or its this spring that fell off. Thanks for reading.
