ipad shut down and won't start again!

During use my iPad pro suddenly shut down. It doesn't want to start again. I tried pressing the home and on/off buttons at the same time. Any suggestion on how to correct this problem??

When my phone turns on I go on settings to check if there's something i did wrong but I found out that it could happen more than once cause this is my third time it's happened

I am having this issue.....ever solved?

Just happened to mine. No combination of key presses will bring it back up. Quite the coincidence, just last month I made my LAST installment payment on this device with my cellular provider.

My IPad 9.7 Pro (Air) started to act up right after the last software update...showing full charge and working normally one day, then an hour later total shutdown black screen dead. Left it on a table for dead, come back a few days later and it works like nothing ever happened. Today it’s dead again, even after having it plugged since last time it resuscitated...I hooked it to an amp meter and it shows no drawing of energy (no consumption of amps), so it is flat

Try pressing on/off, vol up, vol dn and then hold down home until the picture of charge cord pointing up saying to connect to pc and restart using iCloud. You may need to do this several times before it is recognized. This may restore back to factory new if you do not have a current backup on iCloud.

My issue is after getting to that screen it will go blank again once I unplug the charge cord possibily indicating the battery has lost connection to the processor. It will keep trying to reboot but then fails entering a never ending loop trying to start, going blank then trying to start (apple logo appears briefly each time)..

Good luck.

That happened to my wife's iphone. I stored for like 6 months on a draw, till I was going to sell it to someone that needed some parts. Then I turn it on, and surprise, it worked again. I had to cancel that sell

That's what happened to my iPhone and I think the best way to prevent it is to leave it for a couple of days cause that's what I odd and eventually it worked when I put it in charge for like a whorl three days

Your battery could have some issues, maybe try charging it for an entire day. You could also try different combinations of home button and power button presses after charging. You can search that on the internet. If you charge it and the back feels hot where the battery is, your battery might be dead, which happened to one of my iPods. Then you’ll have to replace it.
