Sorry for hoping on an old thread. I have shattered my display on th s6 and it is cheaper to buy another s6 than replace the display. Can I swap my old motherboard in order to access my old pictures and videos?
Yes, if you buy an S6 of the matching model you can transfer your logic board over to the other phone and then you'll be able to turn it on and access the data on the phone.
So the orange box is where all pictures/videos are stored? Am I able to remove and swap into another S6? Where the battery connects onto the motherboard is fried. I didn't back up pictures to cloud and that's why I'm trying to find out how to replace it.

I hate it when people don't answer the persons question. Your question sir just adds extra non-useful fodder to the thread. What is it to you to know why the person wants to know the location of the internal memory.
