Left Soft button not working after replacement of screen
Hi,
My phone galaxy s5 stopped working when it fell on the floor, took it to my technician and had to replace the screen..
After that i found out that the soft left button where i can access the task manager is not working .. it like i have no button on the left..
Is there any other way to utilise the task manager from settings menu instead of opening the phone screen again?
Thankx :)
Es esta una buena pregunta?
Chances are your mobile phone repair technician cut the touch sensor cable for that button which is connected to that charging port.
To get it working the charger port assembly would need to be replaced.
I can you can go to developer settings to enable hold back to kill all apps.
To enable developer settings go to settings > about phone > tap on build number 7-10 times.

Thankx for your help
I pressed it 7 to 10 times.. and the developer mode is enabled..
What shall i do next?

Go back to main settings and scroll down and look for 'Developer Options'
Enter that and enable 'Kill app back button' This will allow all background apps to be killed when long-pressing the back button. Not sure if the software on your phone has it or not.
