iPhone 6 not loading past apple screen

Hello,

I have an iphone 6 that is causing me an headache, hopefully someone might know the answer to my problem,

My iphone 6 was working perfectly until i change this sim card while it was plugged into laptop, when i change the sim, the phone somewhat rebooted itself and stayed stuck on the apple logo screen, It stayed like this until i pressed the home and power buttons together until it switched off.

I disconnected from laptop and pressed the power button and nothing happen, just a black screen, I plugged it back into my laptop and the apple screen came up but will not progress past the logo, also the device is not recognized by my computer or itunes either.

I put the phone into DFU mode to see if i could restore the device but without my computer not recognizing the device i cannot go any further,

this screen does tend to flicker every few minutes whilst on Logo screen. i have also tried reinstalling itunes to the latest edition.

Im must stress that the device was fully working prior to changing the sim card, im at a loss with what to do, i have tried everything i know with no luck.

Please if you have experienced this and know how to fix it, please message me

I'm quite puzzled how putting a sim card would somewhat brick the iPhone 6. Have you tried putting the phone into recovery mode instead of DFU mode? Sometimes it's easier to boot this mode instead.

Have you checked the charger port for any dust or lint? If there is some use a toothpick or equivilant to clean out the gunk.

I have already replaced the charger port, when the phone refused to charge, I have to put battery into my other iphone to charge it to work on the faulty one, Your puzzled, i am too lol, DFU mode, I think what i meant was recovery mode, where you get the itunes logo come up,

Hi,

I have tried putting original sim card back in with no luck.

Has anyone ever experienced this fault, if so did you find a solution to fixing it.

Place the original SIM card back in the device and place it in recovery mode. Attempt the restore after that and let us know your result.
