wont load windows says operating drives not found
laptop comes on but wont load anything .Have windows 7 it starts to load then says drives not found

Hi Betty,
Try to install an operating system (Windows/Ubuntu recommended) to Flash Drive and load it on your laptop. Then open the disk drive manager and check your internal Hard Drive condition. Below are possibly symptoms:
- If the drive detected and there's no error, your windows partition isn't bootable, luckily it's repairable with windows installer CD
- If the drive detected but it corrupted, this link will help you
- If the drive not detected, your laptop's SATA cable which connects motherboard to internal hard drive was broken, or unfortunately your internal hard drive is dead (>_<) sorry..

Hi, Go into the BIOS settings and see if the HDD has been detected. If it isn't your HDD has either failed or the connection to it has somehow come loose.
