2 Plugging in camera cable causing high fan, slow speed. Camera works.
I replaced my display and all is well except when i plug in the isight cable. After a few seconds, the fans spool up and stay high and the cpu lags. Camera does function. Unplug the cable, things return to normal. Sounds like sensors being affected of some sort.
I have seen scarce reports of this being a flex cable issue.
Does this cable plug into the bottom of the display (under the black plastic cover) or does it run all the way up to the isight camera. In other words, full disassembly to change the cable? (which I will not be doing!)

Is this the internal camera or a camera that you are using and just plugging in to the units USB port?

The internal camera connector, next to the 3 wifi antenna connectors. I could care less about the camera, but the cable does more than that, including the Ambient Light Sensor I think. Does anyone know the full extent of impact with this left unplugged?
