iTunes/computer wont detect iPhone after battery replacement

Replaced the battery after iPhone 6 plus suddenly died and wouldn't turn back on, Now the iPhone is turning on but stuck on a boot loop.

iTunes recovery and DFU mode is not being detected by the computer (tested on 3 different computer with 4 different cables)

I've replaced the battery twice, replaced the lightning port twice, made sure the battery was at 100% and tried every button combination out there but nothing! (iPhone has never been Jailbroken).

Here is what I don't get, whenever the new battery is connected and i try connecting the phone to the computer with the lightning cable the iPhone turns ON (just like any iPhone when it detects it has been connected) if the port would be bad that wouldn't be happening,

if you can help me figure this one out or can fix it for me I would appreciate it

Thanks!

Maybe you knocked off a component for the data lines while replacing the battery.

This is a belated answer so hopefully it can be of use to folks who search for and find this question.

Boot-loopers are the worst...

Normally I would say that replacement charge ports and batteries are notorious for low quality. However, you have already tried multiple parts to no avail so that isn't the problem.

If you have access to a USB Ammeter, you could use that to determine if the phone is really drawing current when it says it's charging.

Otherwise, many things can cause a boot-looping device. Give us more history by commenting on this answer.

Try these things (if you haven't already) to see if anything helps:

  • Try a hard reset (Home & Power button for 10 secs)
  • Use a genuine Apple Lightning connector
  • Use a genuine Apple charging brick and let it charge overnight
  • Try to connect it to different computers (mac/pc if possible) with an updated iTunes
  • Put the phone in recovery mode (search DFU Mode). Careful, this can reset your data
  • Use 3uTools for putting it in and out of Recovery Mode
  • Use 3uTools to flash the firmware (you can't downgrade)
  • Check the condition of all the flexes (with magnification)
  • Disconnect the Front Camera Ribbon from the logic board and reboot your phone
  • Disconnect the screen assembly completely and see if iTunes will recognize the phone.

Otherwise, you may have a logic board issue. If you are uncomfortable doing these steps, consider finding a repair shop to do the troubleshooting. A shop that also does micro-soldering can go deeper if the problem is not modular in nature.
