When it boots up it shows a flashing Globe and thats all ..how can i get a boot disk to get it back up?

You machine can not a valid operating system. Try starting up from your original system installation disk by inserting the disk on start up and holding down the "C" key. If it boots go to the second screen. The pull down menu will appear. Now open up Disk Utilities and run it on your internal hard drive. You will probably need a new PATA drive.

Also you may need a new PRAM 1/2 AA 3.6 volt lithium battery if your date and time were not holding or your printer was dropping off line.
