I have the Lenovo Yoga 3. If I close the top the laptop I loose my wi-fi connection. This is so frustrating. The point of having the solid state hard drive and boot up so quickly kind of loses it's "charm" when I'm having to spend time connecting to wi-fi every time I open it.

Go to ,
Control Panel (win key + x key together to get shortcut link) > Power Options > Change Plan Settings > Change Advanced Power Settings > Change Settings that are currently Unavailable.
Look at either Wireless adapter settings or Lid to see if there is an option available to overcome your problem.
I haven't got a laptop so I cannot give you the exact setting that you may need.
