The Asus Transformer Pad TF300T is an Android tablet computer released in April 2012. The Asus Transformer design includes an optional docking keyboard that “transforms” the tablet into more of a laptop computer.

Screen not displaying but HDMI works & touch works (verified via HDMI)

So I dropped it, pretty hard.

The backlight comes on, but no display. Cracks appear when backlight is on, but cracks are not on the top glass. Cracks dont show when device is off.

Connected via HDMI to a TV, I can use the tablet on the external display AND the touch screen works.

Not sure whats wrong or what actually needs to be replaced.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you need a new LCD . It is unusual for the digitizer to still work when the LCD is toast . is the glass broken on the surface? New one can be purchased on amazon
