Wont charge or turn on after screen replacement?

So about a month ago I broke my screen and about 2 weeks later I bought a screen to fix it. Once I put the screen on it wouldn't turn on and I checked all the connectors and noticed the ribbon cable for the LCD was damaged. So i returned it and waited for the replacement to get back. Once the replacement got here I started putting everything back together but I accidentally ripped the home button ribbon cable connector. Still i continued to put everything back together planning on replacing the home button later. I put everything back together hoping everything would still work but it wont charge or turn on? I've replaced many iPhone screens and i've checked all the connectors and cleaned them many times. Please help!

you can't replace the home button on the 6 series. they are encrypted per device. once you break that then its through. the phone will error out and bootloop. if you used metal tools , instead of plastic, you could have shorted out the motherboard. any other details on how you did the repair that could help us come to a better conclusion

Okay then that's done but I used a plastic tool to get the screen off and I used that same tool to unconnect the LCD connectors. Obviously I used metal screwdrivers but the only thing they touched are the screws.

did you get a screen with everything attached, or did you move the heat shield and speaker, etc on your own?

If you're not seeing ANYTHING on the screen when you try to turn it on, it could be a bad screen. Do you feel it vibrate when you try to turn it on?

I moved everything from one screen to the next. No it doesnt vibrate or anything, and i feel like its very unlikely that I got two bad screens in a row.

Putting in a new home button doesn't automatically give you error 53. It's only until you update that it gives you this error. And that's only if you update with the new (aftermarket) home button. You can keep your original home button, for when you want to do updates

I wouldnt throw out the idea that you got two bad screens in. Manufacturers can churn out bad batches, which most likely go to the same supplier. Take the screen off and look closely at the lcd connector on the motherboard. These pins can bend. If one of the gold contacts is missing or bent, then that's your issue. Also, do you have your old cracked screen to test with? If so, that's the best way to test whether or not you got another bad lcd.

I've checked those connectors multiple times, when I get home I will test and see if my old broken LCD works and i'm going to see if I can get a reading on my battery.
