Data recovery from sim card?

Is there any way to get data from a sim card by inserting the sim card into a different iPhone? My friend passed away last year. I don't care about the phone itself, I'd just like access to the photos. No, she didn't backup with iTunes or on the iCloud. I've tried every password I can think of to open the phone, but it's now disabled. I understand it's possible to reset the phone, but that would destroy the photos in the process. Help?

This is somewhat complicated. If the phones operating system has been updated to 8.1.1 or later it is unrecoverable. If the system is prior to that it can be recovered. Now the legalities, you will need written, notified permission from a parent or guardian, and copy of the death certificate. I work with a company that can do a .jpg only recovery at reduced cost. They will do a free evaluation, send you a FedEx box. Costs run from about $700 to $1300. If you are interested, click on my icon and email me for the details.

Data recovery from a SIM card is impossible. You need to find a way to get their email and password. That would be the way to get the information

I have the email and password for Apple, iTunes, and iCloud. I just can't believe there isn't a 14 year old kid who can't break into the phone magically. I just want the photo files. I'm a bit past bereft here.

You can backup the phone, then do a restore, to that backup. Not sure if an older phone will let you do this without opening the phone. Then you'd have all the data, and could do a restore

Yeah, so I tried that. It's been ten months, February 25th to be exact, when I found my sweet handsome man hanging in the garage. Not a "her" as I said. The love of my life. I just want the pictures of us, nothing else. I've been staring at his phone since then, and I can't do anything with it. I just want the pictures of us, and his son. I want to leave those for his 9-year-old son. How is it possible in 2016 that no one can hack into this??? I would pay as much as I can.

There is no data on the SIM card, pointless.

Yep. iPhones currently never, ever store any contacts on the sim card. The option to do so on an iPhone just isn't there.

Why? I have no idea, many android phones have the feature of exporting to sim card. While iPhones can only import from sim card.
