My Macbook's USB ports are pretty fried. One works but it only works with my external harddrives, wifi dongle, and printer if I fiddle around with the cable. Never works with my USB flash drives. Is there anything I can do to fix it? I've already tried resetting the PRAM and SMC.

Have you booted your machine into Apple Hardware Test (AHT) mode?
This will run a diagnostics test on your hardware (about how it sounds like it would from the name) and notify you of any errors.
