Why won't the battery charge?

There are a couple reason why the battery for the camera won't charge. One reason is that the charger itself may not work. If you have an extra battery or another device that uses the same charger, try using the charger with those. If the charger charges the other battery or the other device, that means the battery for your camera is bad and needs to be replaced. If the charger didn't work on the new battery or the other device, then that means the charger is broken and needs to be replaced with one that has the same serial number/ specifications.
