Replaced a worn fuel line. Ran great for about 20 minutes, then stopped. Will re-start but only run for 15-20 seconds. I replaced spark plug and air filter as well, but same problem. Engine keeps stopping after 15-20 seconds.

I do for most part agree with Ryan's answer. Clean the Carb, fuel line, and definitely the fuel tank. Replace the fuel with clean fuel. Also, you might develop a vapor lock. Your gas cap should be vented. If it is not, you create a vacuum inside the tank which will prohibit the fuel to leave the tank. Also check the float and the needle valve to make sure that they are working properly. Also make sure that the float bowl is nice and clean...good luck. The proper term is actually hygroscopic : readily taking up and retaining moisture <glycerol is hygroscopic> Sorry had to do it :)

My toro selfpropell push got wher it wld start and run fine on first pull after abt 20 min or so it wld die i was told it was carburetor so i put a nw one on and new filter and new gas did fine till i mowed cple times and now same thing run for few and stop
Can someone please help I have a riding mower that at first would run for a while but then would act like it was out of gas .so the black wire that that is right before the carb was broke so fixed that put on new filter for gas and air and drained all gas 2times and now its trying to go dead but if I move the choke back and forth I can keep it running for a little longer but not cut grass . Please help

If it runs great for about 20 minutes and then stops, does it sound like it's starving for gas or surging? Do you hear any misfires/backfires?
My first guess will be something having to do with the magneto getting spark to the plug. Pop the cover off the top of the engine and check for any wiring that is rusted, broken or in bad shape. I'd start with that.
You may also have a line that is partially clogged up going to the carburetor. As the engine runs, the level of gasoline in the carburetor bowl could be dropping and causing the engine to stall out. When it stops it could fill up just enough to restart and run for a few seconds. You could try using any fuel system cleaners. I personally use SeaFoam in all of my outdoor power equipment. It helps to stabilize the fuel, especially now that everything has ethanol in it.
In case you didn't know, ethanol is hydroscopic meaning that it absorbs water. Don't buy more gas than you can use within 30 days. After that, put it in your car to get rid of it and buy fresh for your mower.

One other thing I just saw that might be worth checking into. Check to see if you have the right spark plug. You might have the right number, but there is a difference between a resistor plug and a regular plug. Generally, you only use a resistor plug when you might have sensitive electronics like a GPS or an engine management computer. Unless you are doing some precision yard work, I doubt that's the case.
- I actually learned that from experience - I had a string trimmer that would run fine cold, then shut off at anything over idle when warm. Turned out I got the wrong plug from Advance Auto without realizing the difference in plugs...
YES CHECK PLUG TYPE. My lawn tractor shut down after minutes running fine.Would start up again an do same thing. I received from auto parts store a resistor plug which was wrong and marked R and then a number after.I put old plug back in and ran for over an hour.Old plug had no R before it's number.Will try to match old plug again but now aware of the resistor type which these motors do not need.THANK YOU AGAIN RYAN. Halfway through lawn cutting the engine speed dropped to nothing and then to an idle. It will start and run for a few seconds and quit. Emptied fuel tank and re;aced with fresh fuel to no avail. Seems like a broken spring or something.
What is the question?

If the carburetor you have to clean it out this is somewhat clean it all the way off and put it back together the way that you found it it's really easy all you need is carbarater and air compressor gun type thing it's like it's a little pistol it's a little pistol grip like thing.

I think there is a missing spring on the choke. Once, it restarts the choke slides to the slow position and the engine cuts off.

My white mower cuts for 15 minutes then $@$** off and then starts right up
I have same issue, Now I am wondering if the replacement line has blockage. I am going to pull it off and check it. My choke is working fine. It is a fuel starvation issue. I have good fuel and I did some looking at the carb, took the bowl off. I am going back to the fuel line, maybe wrong diameter.

my trimmer stops running after 10 or 15 minutes, mytrimmer is new only has been used 5 or 6 times
