DESPERATELY NEED HELP! Can't find answers anywhere...
While I was in the US, there was some minor water damage to my iPhone 4s which warped the display a little and caused the flashlight on the back to be on constantly and I couldn't turn the light off. Over the next few days the phone functioned perfectly fine in all areas apart from the flashlight being totally broken now.
Eventually, all of the water had dried in the screen and display was perfectly normal. Gradually the camera on the back of the phone didn't work at all and then the problems started. I had my iPhone plugged into the charger and from 3% it had charged to 100% in a matter of minutes which meant to me there was an issue with the battery.
The next issue I faced was the temperature warning. While my iPhone was charging, a warning display told me that the temperature of the iPhone was too high and that I was recommended not to use it until it cooled down. The device was barely warm, still, I obeyed the instruction, took the phone off charge and let it cool for 20-30 minutes.
When I turned the phone back on, everything functioned normally except for wifi connection. The slider used in settings to turn the wifi on and off was grey and nothing happened when I tapped it. My iPhone power started cutting out and at this point I would not be able to operate it without having it on constant charge. Now every time I have all of these problems and the battery life is at 100% (supposedly).
I've tried connecting my iPhone to a laptop (both iMac and Windows) and the phone doesn't even get past the startup apple logo. It will glow as if to start up, then go black and repeat over and over again.
I want to access Photos, Videos, Contacts, Messages, Notes etc and be able to back these things up without losing them. If there's any way WHATSOEVER that is cheap and doesn't take too long, I'd be willing to buy a home-kit, change the battery myself or take whatever the necessary step is to function the phone just long enough to retrieve all of my things.
PLEASE GET BACK TO ME.
