Whenever I am on a phone call or sounds are played through my phone, there is a static sound. It either sounds unclear or sometimes doesn't play at all. Would this be an indication of a faulty speaker or could it be something related to the motherboard?

Bro! It's mostly a faulty speaker issue if there is a static and but if you have wired beeps then it could be motherboard issue. But as you described it is mostly a speaker issue!!
