Won't turn on but continuously vibrates when plugged in

Replaced the battery, logic board, and both of the screens last week. The phone worked great until this morning when I forgot it was plugged into the wall, pulled on it and it yanked back from me to drop three feet onto the floor.

I immediately took it apart to make sure all the connections are OK, but to my novice eye they seem fine (I even undid and redid some of them).

Then I plugged it into iTunes to see if I could restore it or something like that, which I did but without any fix.

It continues to vibrate every 5 seconds when plugged in...please help!

MontieFerg, check your display connector and make sure it has not been dislodged. Of course also check for any other damage on the logic board. Your symptoms are pretty consistent with a broken display.

If the display is broken but it's an ifixit display do I have any opportunity for a discount or replacement? Less than a week and this happens!

Additionally, if I am going to check the display connector, is it the same as the "display data cable" on the iPhone 4S Display Assembly Replacement guide (iPhone 4S Screen Replacement)?

Yes it is and probably not. this is not a warranty issue but a damaged LCD. Of course the best thing to do is to contact the ifixit staff on here https://www.ifixit.com/Info/contact

I was able to reconnect the display connector and it works great!
