1 No Image on my LED TV when switched on
I am from India. We own a LG 42LW6500 3D LED TV.
When switched on our TV shows no image at all.
We opened the TV back cover and found that the backlights are working and the circuits are also not damaged. But still when I switch on there is no image in screen and couldn't check sound as we were not able to navigate.
The service guys reported that the TV Display is gone and you have to buy a new one as the warranty is over. Can you suggest me any other ways to figure out the issue. ?
And one question If the Backlights are working , does that fully mean the Screen is working properly, as you said in the video ????

How did you determine that you have a backlight? what does your screen show when your set is off and when it is on? Have you checked your video connections? tried with a different input, i.e. Game console DVD player etc?

I removed my back cover and checked the small white lights glowing ....In a youtube video it is said that if the back lits are glowing then the problem is less.(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xUzCLgoS...) And I didn't not try any other inout as the opening screen Of LG logo itself is not coming.

Does the power light come on? Can you take a couple of pictures of the different boards and post them with your question? I am thinking that this could be a mainboard issue, which would be repairable. A broken LCD is almost impossible to find and is considered unrepairable.

I am also facing the same issue and service person told me that Motherboard gone and later when he brought MB he said panel has gone bad an need to buy one and will cost ~ 32K. It seem there are some known issue with this panel and customer is suffering.
