The headphone jack used to work fine, but has become loose over time with general wear and tear. It has now stopped transmitting sound to the headphones.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

If the audio jack is not able to be replaced or repaired, a possible solution to get sound is to buy an external USB sound card which will replace the malfunctioning audio jacks.
