My controller is lighten up but doesn't respond or work.
So I've got this controller ever since I opened the Xbox one box, so I joined a party to play CoD: Advanced Warfare but my batteries were low and my mic was plugged in and I didn't wanted my controller to turn off suddenly so I said why not plug in a USB wire so that It won't run out of batteries while playing, but then suddenly my mic stopped working but my controller is lighten up but for some reason not working, I pressed every button still nothing.. Help?

where did you plug it into?

It's like a samsung charger I plugged it from the console to the controller. (at the front of the controlller)
