iPhone 6 water; do I need to take the EMI shields off?
I had a bit of an accident when I went swimming with my iPhone 6. I have worked quite a lot with previous iPhones and took my iPhone 6 apart and did all the tricks;
ScubbingBubbles, left it in 95-ish % alchohol for a few days and cleaned all contacts and solders with a soft brush. I bought a new battery as well.
The phone is still dead and when I connect the power the CPU gets really hot. I have not removed the EMI shields though, is this something I need to do in order to see what is going on under them?
Es esta una buena pregunta?
