Some time ago my polaroid model TLX04243B started going dim (or fuzzy) for a few seconds at a time, once or twice in an hour or two. It has now become the primary situation. May display properly for five minutes or so.

Larry Hannah, not quite sure about the "fuzzy" part, but this model is known to have some capacitors fail. This could cause problems like that. It is also possible that it is your main/inverter board. Post some images of your individual boards and lets see if we can figure this out a bit better.
