There are aftermarket batteries for the phone that are stronger, but some don't play nice with the phone. Apple plays this game where aftermarket batteries mess with how the phone works, so unless you find one that's proven to play nice, you'll go through a couple batteries to find one that isn't a problem for this phone. I would also back it up first in case it has to be restored.
