i bought faulty ipad 2, it does not turn ON, i have changed its charging port also but it still doesn' t turns on. while inspecting i have noticed that there is no voltage at battery connectors when its plugged in.and theres one IC which turns really hot when charging cable is connected.i have attached picture of logic board, the ic in green circle is getting hot.

Sounds like a rabbit hole---it will consume more time to repair this board than the board is worth. However, if you want to go down the rabbit hole, then the first step is to see if the board will start with a known good battery.
