I can never get a screen to fit flush?

I've been fixing android phones for a bit now, but nearly every time It comes to placing the the screen or glass down I can never seem to get the screen to fit perfectly flush. Their always seems to be a edge or side of the screen lifting making the repair look bad. Is there any tips or solutions to this problem. Your feedback would be appreciated :)

I have done what you are suggesting but it seems as if the adhesive I apply never seems to hold the screen strong enough.

Depending on what device you are fixing depends how you should go about it.

You need decent double sided adhesive, there are a lot of adhesives out there that are terrible.

Cleaning out the old adhesive is a good start, use 99.9% isopropyl alcohol to clean it up after to, as this will degrease it and give it a better adhesion.

You can also purchase some really good pre cut adhesive for certain models, this allows a perfect fit.

Another tip is to apply heat to it after you have laid the new glass down, this softens the adhesive to allow it to attach itself better, make sure you clamp it down or something similar though. :)

Would you know where I can find these better adhesive tapes and the precut adhesives I think those would work perfect for me :)

You can get pre cut adhesives on eBay half the time, I usually stay away from eBay for parts etc. but when it comes to things like that, you can get decent stuff.

When it comes to double sided adhesive it can be difficult, as some are too thick or just not strong.

One of the best I've used is known by eTech as "red tape" this is extremely strong adhesive.

Make sure to remove the old adhesive and any bits of broken glass before applying the new screen. Also check the device to see if the frame is warped.
