Dell inspiron n 5010 bought 5 years ago Recently when I turn on the laptop The screen does not show up. Only thing I hear is a beep sound. Plz note that my battery is already dead .

remove the ram inside of your computer and then put it back in this will help your computer

Hook it up to an external monitor and see if that works. If it does, something could be wrong with your monitor. If it doesn't work it's your graphics card...
