Water damage, broken motherboard and processor
Hi, i got my phone submerged in the water and can no longer turn on.
I got it to a repair shop and they said the motherboard needs to be replaced but the processor cannot...therefore the phone can no longer be revived.
I am just wondering whether that should be the case.. that both processor and motherboard cannot be replaced.. and my phone cannot be revived...

The processor is part of the phones logic board. So if you replace it you will have a new processor as well. You will lose all your saved information and can not retrieve it.
